Choosing the Right Tires for Your Vehicle and Driving Needs

We recently asked Josh, Automotive Technician, to share with our clients how to select the appropriate tires for various driving conditions, including all-season, winter, and performance tires.

He answered: 

In Virginia most vehicles are best suited with an all season tire due to Virginia’s weather throughout the year. All season tires work great for summer, rain and moderate snowfall. More aggressive tires such as all terrains are good for vehicles that have mild off road use safely and mud terrain tires are best suited for heavy off road use. High performance sport cars such as corvettes are designed to run high performance tires that are designed to improve handling on pavement and can maintain grip at high rates of speed.
